TAP Consulting unveiled its Outreach Planning and Assessment Toolkit, developed in collaboration with The National Center for Outreach (NCO) of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. This online tool is designed to help plan outreach activities and create customized assessment tools to measure the impact of public broadcasting's outreach programs. The Toolbox has interactive tools and templates for planning, data collection instruments, data analysis and reporting methods. Supporting materials provide examples of effective assessment practices and links to additional assessment resources on the Web.

Verbatim comments from the 2005 NCO Conference in Boston:
  • This will be a valuable tool to use to measure impact, to build partnerships, to leverage resources
  • This is fantastic and provides the opportunity to reduce time in compiling research. This is will be very helpful in analyzing and assessing my future projects.
  • This will make the process of setting up measurable outcomes and assessing impact so much easier! Thank you!
  • This will be immensely helpful for the outreach projects I'm working on. It will standardize how I'm approaching it and generate reports much faster.
  • This will drastically improve my ability to secure funding and satisfy my partners' needs - thank you!
